Stillwater Music Video

For a long time now, I’ve included little clips of video of each client into their image slideshows. But lately I’d been wanting to push the envelope a bit and try doing nothing but video clips and then editing them together into a music video. Lizzie, Katie, & Emma were up for something new so we set out a fun evening in Stillwater.

Not All Weeds Are Ugly

I came across this plant the other day as I was scouting new locations in Oakdale and just thought it was so beautiful with its star shaped tips.

I’ve decided use this blog to occasionally spotlight various products we offer. First up is a senior portrait collage. Collages are great because of how versatile they are. You can choose images to spotlight a special friendship (like the one below) or show off different aspects of a senior’s personality by combining your favorite images from the session.

You’ll notice that there is a bit of thickness to this print. All of our prints (except wallet sized prints) are now mounted on a hard plastic called styrene and coated with a lustre finish to protect the image. The reason we’ve started mounting every print on styrene is because we want your precious images to last a very long time. When an image is not mounted, it’s easy to crease or even tear when reframing or moving the image to a new location. When your images are bound to styrene, you’d have to work very hard to damage them!

Cassandra And Mike

I’m going to share a few of my favorite photos from Cassandra & Mike’s engagement session. After spending some time at the vineyard in Hastings, we hopped on over to River Falls, WI to check out their alma mater and hang out at one of Mike’s favorite fishing spots. I love that not only did they pick locations that had meaning to them, the locations they chose were stunningly beautiful.

I cannot wait to shoot their wedding later in the summer! Just through photographing C&M for a couple of hours, it was easy to see how much they love and care for one another.
